Key Details To Look Into When Purchasing Clothing Modestly

Dear Ladies,

How many of us live with this struggle of shopping for modest clothes on fast fashion brands. Like all of us, got a pretty dress that seems modest and boom it has an open back. Or sometimes we don’t even know what to look for when buying from fast fashion brands. (A Personal Shopper can help you too of course.) Of course ladies I’m not just telling you these problems without giving you any solutions. In this fashion letter you will find details to look into while shopping, as an added bonus you will also find some amazing pieces from my favorite modest brands.

Higher Necklines

When wearing higher necklines its much easier to not show your neck while you are wearing loose hijab styles. Maybe you could even rock a turban if it’s high enough. That’s detail number one. Crew necks and higher works like a charm.

Long Sleeves/ Sleeveless

Sleeves will soon be your latest obsession. Lantern sleeves, puff sleeve, bell sleeves, there are so many options you can choose from. (The sleeves should be long enough to cover your wrists and loose.) Not to be a savvy sleeve enthusiast, but this is where you should go wild. As for sleeveless options wearing a top underneath with lengthy sleeves can give off that retro Y2K look which every influencer is diving into. Haven’t gone down that rabbit hole just yet.

Flowy Pieces

Let’s take a few tips from our fellow Disney princesses, wear flowy and semi voluminous dresses. A tulle ball gown can make any girls heart flutter. When shopping look for those types of pieces lengthy and flowy in just the right color for you. Each skirt should hit just around the end of your ankle. If pants is more your cup of tea, loose and wide pants are best. Nothing should be slim fit or skin tight.

Long Winded Coats & Cardigans

Believe it or not ladies not many of us are fond of wearing long coats all day. Cardigans will be your savior from heavy coats and jackets, each piece of outerwear should be long enough to cover your bum but not long enough to annoy you. Coats or any type of outerwear that falls mid thigh is fool proof, the length is very elegant and will not restrict you in any way. Wearing mid thigh length outerwear is great for when you want to wear any type of pants. Same applies for your shirts. (Shirts need to be long enough to cover your bum.)

Is it time for our top picks from our favorite brands already? You best believe it is, scroll on through to find out our top picks from our favorite brands. Each brand caters to all modest hijabis and Muslim women. We got you girl, don’t worry.

Something about books just captures my heart, for some it may be Anime or Sci-fi. For me it’s books, I’d love to hear what you like.
