5 Unexpected Ways Your Style Can Impact Your Life

Dear Ladies,

Style science is a thing. I know all of us would’ve love to take that in school. But anyways I’ve briefly mentioned how your style can impact your productivity rate in my previous. Well today we are going to elaborate more on that. Here are 7 unexpected ways your style can impact your life. After seeing these your mind will be blown away.

Confidence Boost

Yes, yes, yes ladies throwing on your favorite pair of shoes just makes you stand up a bit taller and feel better. Which then makes you feel confident with yourself and how you look. That’s why you must always buy pieces that make you happy, except for the basics of course. Little things as a pendant necklace you love can boost your confidence meter. So when you’re feeling down wear items you love and there you go.

Increase In Productivity

Continuing on with the shoe story. You have your favorite pairs of shoes on and you look perfect. You walk into you corporate job with your head held high and shoulders back. Usually you walk in slumped and always adjusting yourself throughout the day. Which makes you loose focus. But now you know you look good and your not so worried on if your hijab/hair looks funny or if your necklace match your look. Knowing you look good makes you focus more on the task at hand than your appearance.

Changed Personalities and Moods

Now you’re very much focused on your work you begin to walk with a pep in your step. You feel happier more lively. You feel good, you’re getting more done and you’re personality is just brighter and welcoming. No one wants to talk to the lady who is disheveled and is always slumping. And to think it all started with a pair of shoes. That’s science for you ladies, there are multiple studies and articles speaking more in depth about this topic. I’m giving you the general idea and that’s really all you need to change your look.

For example ladies wearing formal wear/business wear to a business meeting not only makes you more dominant but your attendees will take you seriously. You never want to walk in a meeting in t-shirt and jeans, they’ll laugh and probably kick you out. Even if your job is more business casual dress up for those important meetings. Now for more casual occasions, a suit will not be needed, more simple and everyday clothes will make you appear open and welcoming. The key take away from this is to dress for the part and act the way you dress.

Change In Feelings

Let’s say it’s the next week and you’ve been power dressing all of last week. But you notice something, with each day your look is different and you feel different. (You still feel confident and good by the way.) Each look you wore made you feel a certain way, perhaps happy, joyful, calm, or even romantic. Each garment and outfit we wear inspires a certain (good) feeling. Don’t wear outfits that don’t make you feel 110%.

Change In Treatment

It’s been a month now since you started your power dressing journey. Something unexpected happened, the corporate bully is warming up to you. Perhaps she always made fun of how you look or something of the same kind. Maybe more of your peers walk past you and say a nice compliment instead of a nasty retort. Ladies, dress well you get more attention, dress bad and nobody will take you seriously. How we dress leave a lasting impression on our brains and I know you don’t want to be remembered as the grease stain girl. Dressing well and looking/feeling your best makes others treat you much better, the judgmental stares will decrease as well.

Sending Off…

When I found out about these facts I was mind blown too. Just a little reminder for you, dressing well means nothing without great posture.
