Can you define a habit. Obviously it’s something we do over and over again almost like we can’t stop doing it. You’re probably thinking about bad habits, but there are good habits. Like brushing your teeth every morning, that’s a good hygiene habit. That’s just one of the many good habits that we do. If we learn how to manipulate these habits it just might help you level up your life. If you don’t have any goals or habits right now, than you need to tune on my podcast. Let’s just imagine the ideal TMA women, she wants to level up her life through style. She wants to first start by creating good habits. Let’s call her Sara, Sara wants to begin to wear color. (By the way these tips can work for any type of habit you want.) Step 1 is you need to identify your habit goal. What do you want to be doing everyday that is really good for you and/or your business or job.
Sara has already figured out her habit goal, she wants to wear more color. Now what Sara can do next is to try to find ways to implement color into her life. Begin to implement your habit into your own life. Sara is going to start wearing 1 colorful accessory 3 times out of the week. As she gets used to that she will go another step. She than begins to wear a colorful accessory everyday. You really just want to get used to doing the habit every so often.
But remember you must also reward yourself, but not so often. You shouldn’t do that habit so you can only reward yourself be wary of that. Sara has been wearing a colorful accessory for 3 weeks now and she rewarded herself on the 3rd week. That’s what you would want to do. Now Sara is getting bored, she’s been wearing colorful accessories and now she wants to level up. Sara wants to go even farther by wearing a colorful garment.
She’s a bit fearful now, she’s not sure if she should do it. She begins to reach for a colorful accessory but before she walks out the door, she throws on a colorful coat. No matter how afraid you are you have to commit to your goal. Sara wears this colorful coat twice that week and she’s getting comfortable. The following week she implements that same goal and wears a colorful garment 3 times that week.
Sara started off small with the accessories, than she decided to hit big and wear that colorful coat. The more you implement that habit/goal in your life every week the more comfortable you’ll be with this goal. For example if you want to read 60 minutes everyday, you want to start off reading 25 minutes a day. Than you start reading 35 minutes a day, than 45 minutes, than 60 minutes. You might even want to go farther and read 2 hours a day. It’s okay to surpass you goal/habit. The main tip you have to remember is to implement your habit in your everyday life.

Well ladies, I knew this post would be perfect for you. We need habits and we need to find ways to make daily goals into habits. Another bonus tip for those of you that made it to the need of the post, (give yourself a pat on the back), is try to make 3 goals for yourself everyday. It doesn’t need to be a big goal just 3 simple goals. These goals can be eating Breakfast, Lunch and dinner on time or reading 20 minutes. The more you accomplish these 3 simple goals everyday the easier it will be for you to accomplish your bigger long term goals.
