How I Got Accepted Into Reward Style Within 9 Months Of Starting My Blog

How I got accepted into reward Style

Dear Reader,

Something life changing happened on February 23 2021 at 3:50 pm. Yes I remember it precisely. I just received a email saying I got accepted into rewardstyle. In this post I’ll share my tips and tricks on how to qualify for rewardstyle. Many of you probably already heard about this infamous affiliate marketing brand.

Don’t worry I’ll tell you all about how you too can get accepted and what I did. Fashion, lifestyle and beauty influencers and bloggers use rewardstyle. (Most of them not all)

As a blogger earning money is a bit of a mystery. But affiliate marketing is the easiest way to earn money as a blogger. I’ll tell you all about it, shimmy on down.

What is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is when an influencer promotes a product using an affiliate link, and they receive a commission if a person buys that product through her link. Here’s an example.

Yasmin is a fashion blogger in NYC. She got qualified for rewardstyle and now she is ready to promote products to her readers. Yasmin is a small blogger with around 1000 visitors a month on her blog and her Instagram just hit that 2000 follower mark.

Even though her following is small rewardstyle did not look for that on her blog. She publishes a blog post and shares her favorite affordable home decor pieces from Target.

She uses all affiliate links. One of her readers see a beautiful vase in her post. The reader clicks it and buts it through ysing Yasmin’s link.

The reader receives the item and she does not return it or cancel the order, so now Yasmin received her commission/earning from the product.

Do I need a large following or high engagement to qualify?

YOU DO NOT NEED HIGH ENGAGEMENT TO QUALIFY. I highly urge to use your blog to apply to reward style. Many times I used my Instagram but I’ve been denied every time.

This time round I use blog as my primary platform. If you have at least 1500 followers you might be able to get in. Just make sure your pictures are high quality and there’s a cohesive theme.

Maybe your not getting as much comments on your blog posts as you would like. If you want fix that problem, join my Facebook group. We’re still groeing but with your help we can grow.

In my group you’ll find fellow fashion bloggers who will help you and comment on your blog. It’s a great support group for us small fashion bloggers.

Ask friends or family to drop a comment or 3 on your latest blog post, and to promote, promote, promote. I personally use Pinterest and Facebook groups to promote my blog posts. This will tell reward style that you have endgame to and that will bump you up further.

What does Rewardstyle look for?

This is the million dollar question we all have. But I found a nifty trick on my account, I was scrolling about. I clicked this button called refer a creator. It listed a few key things that they look for in every creator.

Here they are:

  • At least 4 months of quality original content
  • Clean design and theme
  • Engaged and growing audience

How to create clean and beautiful images for your blog posts?

This is not as hard as it sounds. Many bloggers take their own photos and upload it on the blog. But I know there is some of us that don’t want to show our face or maybe you’re just camera shy.

Well that’s where stock photos and Canva come into play. I personally use stock photos from Unsplash. They have beautiful free images that we can use for our blog posts.

Before I would use Pexels, but their images are not my aesthetic and are a bit limited. Unsplash is the best way to go.

Now we have our image but what if I want to add text and design details to my image. Well than that’s a job for Canva. I use the Pinterest pin format on canva to create my blog posts. It makes it much easier to share on Pinterest.

Please don’t forget to utilize Pinterest, it’s an amazing tool for us bloggers to use to get organic traffic. There are so many videos and blogs that shares amazing tips on how to use Pinterest to promote your blog.

They also have a blog image template which is horizontal. I’ve used that template in this post here and here.

Canva also provides you with designed templates that you can use, if you don’t want to use someone else’s design, than you can create one your own. Just add a blank template.

Bonus tip for you, use 3 or less fonts on your image. Too many fonts will be distracting and disorganized. I use at least 2 or 3.

I use one font for my text title, and than I highlight some important words with a script font. As you can see in this blog post image. And I always use a different font for my blog url.

I look through Pinterest and some of my favorite blogs to get image INSPIRATION, I really really urge you not to copy another bloggers image. The image design should be 100% you. Now with all these tips go off and get accepted into RewardStyle.

Please, please, please drop me a comment, I love hearing from you guys. Ciao Bella ❤️✨

P.S. If you want me to refer you, drop me a comment and we can get on making your blog/Instagram tip top shape for reward Style. ✨

Something about books just captures my heart, for some it may be Anime or Sci-fi. For me it’s books, I’d love to hear what you like.
