How To Dress For Spring In NYC: Easy Transitional pieces for indecisive weather

Dear Reader,

Welcome back to a new and fresh post from me, it’s been a whole week since my last post. That post was very important and the message needed to be shared, click HERE if you want to read and support the movement.

But going back to what I was speaking about previously, many brands have already released their spring collection. We’re about a month into spring and yet it’s still 40 degrees here, (that’s in Fahrenheit, American things I know).

Yep Spring and Fall are those weird seasons where the temperature is sometimes hot sometimes cold. So how can I dress for constantly changing weather? Glad you asked, it quite simple, layering.

Yep layering, head out of the house in a chilly morning with a pretty spring dress and a light trench. Throw on some cute close toed heeled sandals and you’re golden. Ballet flats are also a great option. By evening the temps turned are higher and the sky is clear, so take off the trench and twirl in your beautiful spring dress.

Who would’ve though it would be that easy? If you don’t know what to wear this spring here are some easy layering pieces I selected for a quick closet spring refresh.

Shikamoo! That’s hello in Swahili, but for English it’s just plain Hello. Hey there, I’m Habibata a fashion obsessed teen fashionista and writer. I love to share all my modest fashion tips and style tricks on my blog. It’s honestly fun to write to all of you. I love to read too! Something about books just captures my heart, for some it may be Anime or Sci-fi. For me it’s books, I’d love to hear what you like. I’ve been dragging on for a long time so now it’s time to say Ciao. I upload every Saturday.

  1. Love this post! I definitely think outerwear is a huge essential for modest fashion! For example, I got a really nice full sleeves top but it was slightly cropped so I bought a long cardigan from Shein to go over it and it actually looks even cuter!
